inception and hiro.

A quick update!

We went to watch Inception last night. AWESOME movie please go watch if you haven't. Leonardo Dicaprio and Joseph Gordon, ladies.

At the theatre, we saw this poster of new upcoming Japanese manga-adaption movie, BECK. I'm no manga fan, but Mizushima Hiro is going to be the lead!

I've been watching bunch of Japanese dramas since I came here, but I don't fancy Japanese actors much, except this fella, Matsumoto Jun and Yamashita Tomohisa (Yamapi). Please don't question my taste, I really don't know why but their actings are really good (compared to other Japanese actors, I think).

He refused to be in the picture. Sigh. I need a new camwhoring partner.

I really doubt that I'd ever watch this movie, but Japan is really big on manga-adaption movies and they usually turn out pretty good - Hana Yori Dango, Zettai Kareshi, Nana etc. We'll see.

Anyway, I got a present from my other half! *cries with joy*

He really knows how to get to my heart.
It's so pretty I love it so much (being the accessories freak that I am). It's supposed to be a necklace (I think) but I'm wearing it as a bracelet instead (picture above). He said the saleslady told him it can be worn as both or even as charms.

I don't know what I did to deserve this. Thank you sayang.

His flight to Malaysia is tomorrow, and my flight is another two weeks. Right before Raya. My mum better have all the ketupat and lemang ready by the time I got home.

Back to basics

My contact lenses supply ran out last week, so I'm wearing the clear ones now. My lab senior looked at my face twice and said, "What happened to your eyes??"

She said she thought my eye color is grey, all these while. HAHA.

Everyone is going back to Malaysia, so Hiroshima is so lengang now. I HAVE ANOTHER TWO WEEKS!! I don't know what I'm going to do with all this free time..sigh..well, other than going to lab, obviously.
