(Putting it up here as I've been getting questions on this.)
Exactly 6 weeks after I delivered Rayyan, my gynae, the famous Dr Raja Juhaidah (she's the author of alamhamil.com!) set me up on an appointment with her - for subsequent check of my stitches and..for pap smear.
When I first heard, I almost shrieked.
Days leading to the appointment, I had sleepless nights.

"How can?! My stitches would be okay for you to do pap smear by then?!"
Days leading to the appointment, I had sleepless nights.
Finally got around to do this post.
One of the hobbies I've abandoned over the years, is doing journals. I kept a few during my foundation program till uni years, ones that have doodles of hearts and little people on them - but as years gone by, I've completely forgotten about them.
Must be splattered around the house, I think.
Aka Rayyan's first Raya!
We made a huge deal of his first baju melayu, to be in the color theme as his daddy - and to suit mine, too.
Sent the fabric to a tailor recommended by my colleague, Kimiga Tailoring, which is based in Sarah Hughes Globe, Jalan TAR. Will do a review soon.
So this was how the baju turned out.

Grumpy baby is grumpy lol. I was wearing bamboo cotton Buttermilk from dUCkscarves.
Once upon a time, I found Yadotsa pieces really magnificent. I still do. I anticipated their every Raya collection like a girl obsessing over designer bags, because let's face it - they're not exactly cheap.
Then came my engagement. I wanted this really gorgeous Yadotsa lace beaded kurung for the big day.
Emailed them regarding the availability and the price. However luck wasn't on my side - it was too near to the engagement day, and I had to make decision fast.
So I had to let it go.
We were watching random shows on TV. I was flipping the channels until I clicked on FOX Movies, or HBO I can't recall, when this show was on.
A movie starring Keira Knightley and Mark Ruffalo and Adam Levine. OK this is cool, I thought, I've never seen Adam Levine stars in a movie before.
Soon after, I wonder what the movie was about. Must be something musical since Adam Levine's in it. Suddenly Keira Knightley came on stage - and began to sing.

Wanted to order a picture canvas of him and Rayyan, with a few cheesy words on it - but after some research, I realize canvas could take some time to finish; the design, sketch, everything - and it wasn't like I had the time to wait for it.
(I only started my research on it a week before Father's Day T.T)
So.. I resorted to this scrapbooking I haven't done in a while.
